1 : Ruse
Ruse (also spelled Rousse) is the fifth largest city in Bulgaria. It is a major cultural center and the largest Bulgarian port on the Danube. It is also situated on the border with Romania.
One of Ruse's claims to fame is that it is the birthplace of 1981 Nobel Prize for Literature winner Elias Canetti.

Ruše (German Rusche; population 10,000) is also a village and a municipality in Slovenia. It lies on the river Drave, between the Pohorje mountain and Kozjak hill ranges. It is the largest village in Slovenia,approximately 12 km from Maribor (population 200,000) the center of the Slovenian region of Styria.
