Burgas is a city in Bulgaria, located on the Black Sea coast. Notable for its large amount of beaches, the area around the city is popular with tourists with the Sunny Beach and Nessebur resorts close by which the Burgas Airport services. The city itself is also the country's second largest port. Another spelling of its name is Bourgas. The city is known for its soccer team, which it the past used to rival the capital teams. Today it is largely delapidated due to lack of funds.
